Item Price Change
Use the Item Price Change function to change prices for large groups of items, locations, or product lines. Before you can use this function, the unit of measure must be defined.
When you change the prices of items, the Inventory prices are updated; each item's unit price is adjusted by the percentage or dollar amount you specify. When you change the price, the price breaks in the price record are adjusted by the percentage or dollar amount you specify.
- Use the Data Filter to select the range of filtering options or leave the filter blank to include all available data. NOTE that the price change will affect ALL records that appear in the detail grid. You can filter by item ID, location ID, and/or product line. Click Apply.
- The Calculate tools section is collapsed by default. Click the Expand button to display the price change tools section.
- Accept or edit the Currency ID for the item.
- For the Unit field, leave the field blank to change the price of all units of measure. Otherwise, select a unit from the drop-down list, or enter a unit of measure to include in the price change.
- Select the adjustment base from the Adjustment Base field: all, base, list, or minimum.
- All - All prices will be changed as specified
- Base - Only the Base Price will be changed
- List - Only the List Price will be changed
- Min - Only the Minimum Price will be changed
- Select the adjustment type from the Adjustment Type field: amount, percent, or exact.
- Amount - Prices will be changed by the specified amount
- Percent - Prices will be changed by the specified percentage
- Exact - Prices will be changed to match the fixed price value entered
- Enter the adjustment amount in the Adjustment Amount field. Enter a positive amount to increase the item price or a negative amount to decrease the item price. If you chose to adjust to an exact price, enter a fixed price for the items.
- Enter any comments in the Comments field.
- In the detail grid, you can add additional item/location/UOM records by using the Append Record button.
- In the detail grid, you can edit the following fields: Item ID, Location ID, Currency, Unit (of measure), Base Price, List Price, and Minimum Price.
- Click Calculate to calculate and display the new prices in the detail grid.

The Price Change Log will display after the changes have been applied.
